Storytelling in Investment - The Three Steps to Tell a Good Story and to Earn Fast Money

Just like any marketing in this world - if you can tell a good story that convince most of people, then you supposedly can earn attractive reward in a very short time of period.

When you understand the idea of storytelling, then you should not be surprised to see many people use their hard earn money to 'invest' an expensive good feeling or dream.

In this post, I summarise how a "storyteller" plan and win the game of speculation. The purpose is to increase the awareness so that most of us can get rid of this kind of speculators and protect our hard earn money.

Step One: Increase Reliability

For full time storytellers, their plan can be in a period of years. As a "potential customer", you supposedly will experience what has been "predict" or "forecast" by these storytellers. The purpose of this kind of investment by storytellers (to realise what has been "forecast") is to convince their "potential customers" to fully believe their "ability".

Step Two: The final Strike

Once storytellers have sufficient "victims", they will very quickly do their final strike or ultimate action based on the weakness of investors - Greed and Fear.

"This is the best opportunity since last 10 decades"
"This is the last chance to get attractive returns in few days"
"This is the time to take necessary action and to be financial freedom once and for all"
"No pain no Gain - Only brave people can be the rich"

and so on.

Step Three: Touch and GO

When storytellers successfully convince their victims that NOW is the best time for they to BUY IN; this turns out NOW is the best time for storytellers to SELL OUT.

History is repeated. New generation who have the same gene continues the same history with, of course, NEW stories but same principle.

SOLUTIONs - Rules of thumb

To get rid of being victims, please bear in mind that:
(i) there is no free lunch in this world before you take any action;
(ii) No one has the responsible to help you earn money;
(iii) If money is really so easy to earn, then many bankers will give "storytellers" attractive loan, thus, it is irrational for them to pay your attractive return.

Next time, when somebody try to offer you a "good story", please repeat the three rules of thumb in your mind few times. These words should help you to break the spell of a good story. That's all for today. More fascinating articles and sharing will be updated from time to time in Xaivier Blog.
