A Secret Your Boss Never Tells You – Work can never be finished

“Yes, finally… I finish my task.” Is this sound familiar with you? Many of us, especially those entry level employees in a workplace, feel overwhelming and frustrated compared to senior level employees. This is because experienced employees know the disclosed secret in the workplace, that is, “work can never be finished”.

However, please don’t get me wrong. I am not asking you to stop doing your work since your work can never be finished. Rather, having a better understanding about the fact and a right attitude toward this matter, you will enjoy your job ultimately.

The "steady and slow" wins the game.
Yes, all you need to do is make sure the task given is done correctly and accurately within reasonable time. Enjoy the process of completing a task, one after another. Your work can never be finished. Therefore, all you can do is to enjoy the process of doing it instead of completing it.

Why is your work can never be finished?
This is because if you finish your work, your employer would has no reason to keep paying you salary in the future. You are given a specific salary to help your employer tackle his or her problems. If there are unlimited problems there, and you are capable to solve them from time to time, guess what, you are a so-called talented person. “You are hired!”

All we can do is enjoy the process of working. Treating them as opportunities to hone your skills and broaden your horizon. If you are a kind of outstanding person who has ambition to be a leader and building his or her empire, all you can do is get prepared, instead of complaining about lack of opportunity. Please bear in mind that opportunities are only available for people who are well prepared. Rome was not built in one day.

That's all for today. More fascinating articles and sharing will be updated from time to time in Xaivier Blog. So, you are welcome to subscribe our feed, look at our sitemap or simply visit our Homepage.
