Time management skills is a crucial skills for child who needs to cope better future in life. Three easy methods  can be used to nurture your child to have a effective time management are shown below:

1. Managing time means fun
Always shows your child how to balance responsibility and relaxation, which will not only allow sufficient time to be allotted for playing, entertainment, and doing the things your child enjoys, but also ultimately make him the well-rounded individual that you want him to be.

2. How to tell time
Teach your child early on to tell time which would nurture your child to be more responsible and disciplined when he knows how to tell time and why it’s important. As a rule of thumb, use a large and attractive designs mechanical clock instead of a digital clock because your child might be bored with the latter.

This is very important for child to know how to divide his time among his different activities such as where to spend more time on and where to spend little. A reward principle can be used to teach your child about prioritization. For example, he will have the remaining time before bedtime entirely for television if he finishes his home work first. However, he would have to watch only until a certain time only if he wants television first. Next, always make your child see the advantages of wise choices. When you find your child having a dilemma between doing two school projects, for instance. Do ask him which one he finds more difficult and advise him to do that one first. This technique will make he won’t dread doing the second project because he’ll know it’ll be easier.

As a parent, consulting a time management e-book might be a good idea to further honing the time management skills of child.
