Tutorial: Display best fit equation with given points via Microsoft Excel 2007

This tutorial is using Microsoft Excel 2007 to display an equation with given nonlinear data. After that, one can use the equation to Y-axis value with its respective X-axis value.

Example: nonlinear data:

Procedure:
1. Select all data above after key-in them in Microsoft Excel 2007.
2. Click "Insert" -> "Scatter" in the tab above.
3. From the chart, right click one of the points, then select "Add Trendline..."

4. In the "Trendline Options", select desired "Trend/Regression type"
5. And click "Display equation on chart" before close it.
6. From the equation, all the Y value can be estimated by substituting respective X value to the equation.
